USA Fire Door Inspection

Florida Fire Prevention Code, the 2017 edition of Florida NFPA 101, requires that fire doors are inspected no less than annually. Per the code, 12.4.6.6.3.1* Acceptance testing of window and fire door assemblies shall be performed by a qualified person with knowledge and understanding of the operating components of the type of assembly being subject to testing. USA Fire Door inspection is certified to inspect all fire rated doors. Contact us today to schedule your inspections! The fire marshals are enforcing this code requirement. Let us help you get in compliance.

The newest standard requires that fire-rated doors be tested for functionality no less than annually and that a written record of the inspection be kept on file for the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).  USA fire door inspection protocol is one of the industry’s most detailed.  Our certified fire door inspection team can help you ensure that your fire doors are code compliant and are working properly and provide you with proof for you AHJ with the best report in the business.

Fire rated doors are integral components of any passive fire-protection design in the built environment. Without proper design specifications and comprehensive inspection and maintenance procedures, fire doors that fall into this latter category are significantly less likely to effectively protect the opening.

To protect against the spread of fire and smoke within, into or out of buildings, maintenance and engineering managers need to implement a preventive maintenance program for fire doors in accordance with locally adopted codes and national standards.
